Vanessa Hudgens Hates The Internet

By Mark Lorenz on April 11th, 2011

You might’ve been one of the people who subjected themselves to the cinematic faux-hawk that is ‘Sucker Punch’. You might’ve sat in your seats in the theater, wondered why everyone was getting lobotomized or raped and not come up with anything conclusive — all the while whilst having ninjas sneak up on you to perform secret lobotomies.

You also might’ve noticed that though the movie bombed, it was Vanessa Hudgens’ most prominent role outside of the bafflingly popular High School musical franchise, and her other bomb to date – Bandslam. They tried showing me Bandslam on a plane. I tried to stop watching Bandslam on said plane, but killing all my passengers just so I wouldn’t be inundated with another drama about high school students finding themselves in between the little spaces where you put notes down on a sheet of paper. But there’s a hilarious exchange that happened this weekend between Hudgens and a reporter, where she says the internet is the worst invention ever.

That’s right. The thing that allows for free information to be exchanged and countless goods and services to be accessed that people would be able to access otherwise is a bad invention.

I think it’s ruining everyone, and it just makes everybody way too accessible – it just takes away the glamor and mystery from our business.

Naw, you know what does that? Gratuitous shots you take of your vagina. Hollywood’s only glamorous if the people in it aren’t basic.
