Pride and Prejudice and Zombies features the original text of Jane Austen’s beloved novel with new scenes of bone-crunching zombie action. As our story opens, a mysterious plague has fallen upon the quiet English village of Meryton-and the dead are returning to life! Feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet is determined to wipe out the zombie menace, but she’s soon distracted by the arrival of the haughty and arrogant Mr. Darcy. What ensues is a delightful comedy of manners with plenty of civilized sparring between the two young lovers-and even more violent sparring on the blood-soaked battlefield as Elizabeth wages war against hordes of flesh-eating undead.

Cause zombies are sooo rare in fiction/fantasy , esp. in YA. All you can see is vamps, weres and fey! So a fresh something like this would be happily welcomed! And it has both the classic and creepy factor! :) ........

I want to win because I have a soft spot for zombies. This happened when I had a dream that I showed up for work after I died. I didn't know what else to do. At that time I worked with a woman who knew all the social ettiquitte. In my dream she gave me soap on a rope as a hint that I smelled (as a dead person). I felt so bad. After I woke up I had a new found sympathy for zombies. Ever since I've been a fan and this is a book I'd love to read. Thanks so much for the giveaway!
