Miley Cyrus Thinks YouTube Stars Don’t Work Hard

By Mark Lorenz on March 30th, 2011

Miley Cyrus is finally opening her mouth and expressing strong opinion about stardom — thank goodness. I was wondering what a being made out of fame THOUGHT about fame.

If there’s anybody who knows anything about undeserved stardom, it’s Miley Cyrus. She was plucked from relative obscurity, the duck-faced child of a crooning country singer, and forced into one of the most lucrative tween markets in history. And now she’s angry about other people getting tour deals based off of singing on YouTube. Allow me to speak for the entire population when we say we welcome neither Disney stars or YouTube stars in the real world. They should be set away in a tiny stone room where they are free to annoy each other until the sun turns to ash. What’s Miley annoyed about specifically?

The attention that people like Rebecca Black are getting. Miley, let Rebecca Black have her moment in the sun – we’ve already been inundated with terrible music for about 12 years. We’ve heard ‘The Climb’. Come to think of it, what the hell is Miley doing these days, eating buffalo wings by the truckload?

This took a turn, quickly. Basically, I hope Miley talks trash about all viral videos, and then we’ll have to country equivalent to Tosh.0.
