Glenn Beck Is Terrified Of Google

By Mark Lorenz on February 19th, 2011

There are many things that Glenn Beck is afraid of. Rhetoric, measured logic, and vegetables. Treadmills. Casting a shadow in the midday sun. But lately? Google.

I could take the time to portray Glenn Beck as a crazy person, but we’re all afraid of Google. They have tendrils of information that stretch from sea to shining sea, and enough information on each person that it’s been recommended that the future generations get new names by the time they’re in their twenties. Frightening stuff.

But this isn’t a rational person we’re talking about. This is Glenn Beck. HE hates Google because he sees them meddling in Egypt’s revolution. Yes. Like a revolution would get together, collectively sponsor a search engine, and then proceed from there. OR a search engine would decide, ‘Hey, we want to overthrow a country,’ and only allow searches related to DIY pipe-bomb website, cheap places where you can print out fliers, and handy government-overthrowing .PDFs. Really Beck? Come on.

Whoever gives Beck his material is a brilliant man. Think about you. You’ve never even considered the fact that Google might be giving rise to an Islamic caliphate, and that is why you’re not a portly millionaire who eats dollar bills.
