Lil’ Kim Releases Black Friday, Remains Irrelevant

By Mark Lorenz on February 17th, 2011

Remember Lil’ Kim? Neither do I.

Or rather, I remember the old Lil’ Kim, the one who didn’t ruin her fact with plastic surgery, dress like she was dropped on her head multiple time. The one who got to where she was by hyper-sexualizing everything and riding with and on the greatest rapper of all time. That little Kim. The little Kim who had her boobs jiggled by Diana Ross. That Lil’ Kim. Not the one who desperately wants attention everytime another female rapper enters the spotlight.

That Lil’ Kim is gone and past, though, and with the rise of Nicki Minaj, one of the most overrated rappers in history, Lil’ Kim has done and gone released a mixtape just talking about her. Which is the worst way to get somebody to forget about something. To all the rappers out there releasing diss tracks, it only draws attention to the subject that you’re dissing, so you look like the bigger idiot.

Which brings us to Black Friday, the mixtape Lil’ Kim released supposedly laying waste to Nicki Minaj with her words. You can’t destroy someone’s career with words. You can’t even destroy your own career by punching someone in the face, ala Chris Brown.

In addition, Kim claimed she sold over 100k.

Good luck with what’s left of your face and career, Kimmy.
