Summer Glau Poses In Esquire

By Mark Lorenz on February 11th, 2011

NBC is the network television equivalent of a punching bag at this point, with a track record so bad that it should be getting ready to steal jewelry while on parole. Fortunately, they keep a fresh stable of eye candy to disguise consistently failing teams of writers. Like Summer Glau.

Conspiracy theorists claim that Summer Glau is known primarily for murdering the shows that she’s on, which have included The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Firefly, The 4400, Dollhouse and now The Cape, but with her waifish girl-next-door figure, pale skin refracting the sun, and part on The Cape as a blogger (we’re self-absored) – you can’t help but like her. The hope remains that sometime she’ll find a series that’ll be able to retain her on for more than two seasons, or maybe she’ll go down in history as the Unsinkable Summer Glau – who kept her career going despite all the shows burning down and…lawd she’s pretty to look at.

And a homeschooled girl from San Antonio Texas.

If you’re not watching The Cape, it’s the best worst show to ever air on television. Which means it had to pass through several executives’ hands, all of which decided it’d be a good idea to air a show where a man’s only superpower is magic cloth.

Summer is awesome. Summer is not only beautiful, she is very talented and a great actress. She's a terrific action performer. She needs to be on the big screen as a lead.

If NBC were clever they would kill the cape. Then, grab the rights for The Sarah Connor Chronicles and reconstitute the cast and crew of what was the best show ever put on TV. Could they be that clever..? doubtful.

Everything positive thing said about the Goddess Herself, Miss Summer Lyn Glau, is not and will never be good enough. ♥ Watching her watch paint dry would be a pleasure. My love is Summer forever.
