Alex Rodriguez Is Furious At Super Bowl Cameramen

By Mark Lorenz on February 9th, 2011

Alright, ARod. You are officially the biggest girly-man playing the sport of baseball; which is already a sport for people who like standing around and doing next to nothing.

If you happened to be watching the Super Bowl, you probably saw one of the most entertaining moments of the night – the premium seats that are reserved for celebrities. You saw John Madden texting, George Bush doing the same thing that he did for eight years in office, and then you saw Alex Rodriguez and Cameron Diaz. And Cameron fed ARod popcorn. Just as quickly as a door was opened, you couldn’t get it shut quick enough. An image of a grown New York Yankee sucking on the fingers of the troll from The Green Hornet is something that you can’t get out of your head, no matter how much charcoal and bleach you try gargling simultaneously.

Alex Rodriguez knows this, so he’s gone ballistic on Fox, claiming that the cameramen were intentionally trying to get a paparazzi-styled photo of him and Diaz. Here’s a hint. You’re at the world’s most-watched sporting event save for the World Cup. People are probably going to be taking pictures of you.

Next time, wear a box, so we don’t all have to construct one mentally.

I hate to burst your bubble but the "super"bowl doesn't rank that highly in terms of viewing audience world wide. Premier league/the Olympics/FIFA World Cup (which you did mention)/Formula 1/Tour de France ring any bells?

I think that people put to much thought into Arod. If he wasn't who he was we wouldn't care who is feeding him but since he is who he is and most of the world hates him he should try to avoid these situations.
