Juelz Santana Arrested

Dipset is a rap posse that has been riddled with complications from the get-go. And now Juelz Santana is facing charges.

His official statement regarding the strife was ‘Police ran up in my studio. I had to deal with that and a couple things.’ The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office in New Jersey saw it slightly differently…stating that the rapper had been arrested on four counts of narcotic and weapons offenses following a 10 month investigation. Let’s be realistic. A 10 month investigation on Juelz Santana is the most intense media scrutiny the rapper’ll probably receive. When I was in Chicago, there was a painted van parked outside the college campus with a giant mural of Juelz’s face advertising his mixtape – ‘What The Game Needs’ – and even with a rapper painted on the side of it, modded vans and terrible flows were still enough to keep most of the population hugging nearby buildings and avoiding it completely. Juelz joins a long list of rappers that’ve been arrested recently, including Wiz Khalifa, TI, and Lil’ Wayne. Yet Charlie Sheen keeps wandering the streets, as free as the day he was born.

The most important thing we can learn from the arrest of Juelz? His real name is Laron James. Laron James. Admit it. You’d change your name too. It’s like having your birth name be Kore Bryant.
