SAG Awards Winners!

By Mark Lorenz on January 31st, 2011

Another day, another awards ceremony come and gone. The SAG Awards wrapped Sunday night, bringing a bevy of beautifully dressed starlets, new awards, and new surprises.

There are far too many awards shows, all fighting for meritorious supremacy. The People’s Choice Awards, the Golden Globes, the Critic’s Choice Awards — nobody needs that many awards; but everyone wins. Movies honored get more revenue, the actor’s egos get stroked politely, and awards rest comfortably in the mantles of personalities all around Hollywood. If we were truly interested in developing sources for cheap, citywide public transit in Los Angeles, we could probably smelt them. Smelt the lot of them together and build an army of cars to transport people to and from jobs that don’t involve award shows.

Here are the winners.
