Charlie Sheen Goes To Rehab

By Mark Lorenz on January 29th, 2011

Predictably and timely, Charlie Sheen has entered into rehab. He won’t be there for long.

Because no rehab can contain him. No walls can box him in. Charlie Sheen is no longer an actor, he’s a moralist construct in your head that takes everything you’ve learned or heard about the seedy underbelly of Hollywood and crams it all into one person that maintains themselves on one of the highest-rated sitcoms on network TV. How can Charlie Sheen be real? Nobody else would be able to keep millions of viewers complacent. Nobody else would have porn stars TWITTERING FROM HIS HOUSE. The man is obviously legendary, for all the wrong reasons.

But Sheen has entered rehab, putting Two and a Half Men on hiatus while he takes time to get himself well. The show has released a statement saying, ‘We are profoundly concerned for his health and well-being, and support his decision.’

Anybody could play the role that Charlie Sheen is playing on that show. Anybody who looks somewhat shady and is able to communicate bad double-entendres. Here’s hoping he can clean up for his wife and kids, otherwise the little Sheens may be motivated to become porn stars themselves. And that’s just weird.
