Tracy Morgan has never been a paragon of integrity – we love him because he’s a loose cannon. Liable to go off at any moment, which is what he did at a recent sporting event, angering everyone who loves Sarah Palin.
Realistically, people who love Sarah Palin need to be angered constantly, to reaffirm the fact they can be passionate about something other than vaudeville-styled comedians come straight from the land of no sunlight. Tracy Morgan took the opportunity to turn an ‘Inside the NBA’ broadcast into a live hand-wringing that no doubt got the TNT bosses in more trouble than most TNT broadcasts give. When prompted by Charles Barkley to talk about Sarah Palin, Morgan did just that, saying, ‘Now let me tell you something about Sarah Palin man, she’s good masturbation material. The glasses and all that? Great masturbation material.’
The thing is, he’s right. If you want to imagine having the angriest sex with anyone on the planet currently, Sarah Palin would probably be one of the top contenders. Her, or if you’re really into short Asian men, Kim Jong Il.
Morgan was chastised and bosses at TNT apologized – but who cares? It was funny. And I thought it was pretty common knowledge that Charles Barkley and Tracy Morgan get into a conversation, they’re not going to talk about normal things.
