Jersey Shore airs another episode tonight. I know that’s not news to a lot of you – the series gets ratings in the millions, beating out a lot of network TV offerings. It has become a part of popular culture for better or worse.
But the housemates can’t stand each other anymore, and many have wandered off looking for better offers or greener pastures – including Pauly D getting his own reality television show related to the wacky situations he’ll encounter DJ’ing. What wacky situations do you encounter DJ’ing? Assholes making requests and trying to give you their iPod, and tan girls who want you to do cocaine with them? That sounds like every episode of Entourage ever aired – but there’s an audience for that. Joining in the terror now will be JWoww and Snooki, who have enlisted the services of MTV’s cameras to follow them around as they do what it is that they do.
I know that these are all people, but barring whatever cartoonish interpretation MTV decides to put them up as, I have no idea what they’re actually like. Have you ever thought about it? You don’t know about their hobbies or what they like doing for fun other than going out and partying.
So included is a sample of one of JWoww’s drawings. We can only assume the show will just be her doing caricatures by the side of the road.
