Marilyn Manson To Judge Austrian X-Factor

Well, he certainly is a rebellious soul, isn’t he?

Marilyn Manson owes a few things to his popularity. Firstly, that his image is creepy and attention catching. Secondly, that it’s consistent with who he is as a person. And thirdly, that he doesn’t go off and do something that’s insanely mainstream to clash with both of those things. Although if he did – it’d be super amusing. Think of cooking shows featuring Marilyn Manson. Marilyn Manson singing the songs of Frank Sinatra. Marilyn Manson being on Dancing With The Stars. That’d never happen here – I hope, but Austria is thankfully different than the US.

In Austria, Manson’s on track to judge the equivalent of the X-Factor. A singing talent contest. Will Manson be the best judge of singing? He’s not even a decent singer. He’s a brilliant man, but a decent singer isn’t on the list of attributes. The resultant YouTubing from the show will probably make the Manson selection worth it.

Think of it. You get to see crying contestants wondering why they didn’t cut the mustard, then Manson can lick their tears, tell them they’ll never succeed in show business, turn into a bat, and fly away.
