Festival organizers have been teasing fans for days, but Coachella finally announced their official 2011 line up Tuesday night. With rumors and speculation out of the way, music enthusiasts can now take in the real roster of indie, techno, dance and hip hop heavy hitters – and emerging artists – who will grace the Coachella stage.
While Daft Punk will not be returning to the California music festival this year, the Coachella bill is admittedly pretty stacked. Kings of Leon, Arcade Fire, Kanye West and the Strokes are headlining the event, while Duran Duran, The Chemical Brothers, Lauren Hill, Cee Lo Green, Robyn, and the Kills are among the acts playing.
Not only that, but Death From Above 1979 have reunited and will take to the stage for the festival. Yes, really!
Coachella 2011 takes place in Indio, California from April 15 – 17. To see the complete confirmed line up, or for additional information, visit Coachella’s official website. Three-day weekend passes are $269, while camping passes are $75. Tickets go on sale this Friday.
