The series that marked the transformation of the Disney Channel into a modern-day tween powerhouse is officially off the air. Hannah Montana. Miley Cyrus, we hardly knew ye.
Or we knew ye too well, as the years started to progress. We knew ye tenedencies to drop away the veil of a lady whenever it suited you and go crazy giving older men lapdances, covers to share with you, and the like. We got so sick of you, we’ve parodied you on SNL as being a mouth-breathing, overenthusiastic southern gal, who lives for self promotion and doesn’t understand the concept of subtlety. But you’ll be able to buy a villa with your Hannah Montana money, where you can live comfortably with someone who isn’t annoyed by your mouth-breathing tendencies.
Hannah Montana’s finale– which brought a tear to all of our eyes and a realization that we collectively geek out over the weirdest things—brought in big ratings for Disney, as the series always has. It was the most watched cable telecast in the 6 to 11 age range, average 5.65 million viewers, the best showing so far.
So it went out with a bang. Like Miley Cyrus will, most likely. And by bang, I mean taped sexual excursion. Heeeeyo.

The author of this article has no idea what he is talking about. She behaves and has fun like a teenager. She does and gives more to charity than all her peers combined. She hasn't attacked anyone and has kept everything legal, all while making hundreds of million of dollars.

@Mark Lorenz, As every trained actor knows, one of the first things you learn in acting class is... DRUM ROLL... to breathe through your mouth! Take a look at the great actors and you may come to realize how stupid your lame put down of Miley Cyrus sounds given that basic fact of basic acting. Give the crass nature of the rest of your comments, it's not surprising to me that you make a fool of yourself on such an elementary issue.
