Witness the one thing that’ll make you realize that remakes are pretty much unnecessary and being churned out at a ridiculous rate – Andrew Garfield dressed up like Spiderman.
I like Spiderman. He’s one of Marvel Comics’ most relatable and endearing creations, but we’ve had a series of movies based off him that’s been one of the highest grossing film franchises of all time, netting Sony well over a billion dollars. So, why do we need another one? For more fast, easy money. It’s like movies are videogames now, only more thought gets put into videogames, because they care about their audience doing more than sitting prostrate for two hours.
Anyway, Andrew Garfield is starring in the next Spiderman reboot, directed by Marc Webb. Who did 500 Days of Summer. So if you were worried that Spiderman was leaning towards getting too emotional again, too precious and indie and hipster, Marc Webb will be there to play you Hall & Oates as you weep through your pain.
Garfield has spoken about the extreme exercise routines he’s been on to play the part, a younger Spiderman than Tobey Maguire played – but the picture looks like all kinds of suck.

why so negative? Nothing in the still that would lead me to think this will be bad - in fact he looks more that part than Tobey Maquire.

Image looks awesome, cast is awesome, director is awesome. You must be a fanboy of Sam Raimi's complete shit excuse for a film. HIS film had overly dramatic characters, shitty acting, horrific cliche writing and storytelling, and Tobey Maguire was a fucking pussy faggot. Keep jacking off to that overrated excuse for a film you fucking loser. The previous series was shit to begin with and had devolved into diarhea. This reboot was much needed and only a fucking moron like yourself would think it didn't. Fuck off.
