A Very Happy New Year from Playboy! Anna Sophia Berglund, Playboy’s January Playmate of the Month talked to Manolith about her newest playmate title and what she looks for in her special someone.
A Southern California native, Anna is no stranger to Hef and the Mansion. She is best friends with Hef’s main squeeze, Crystal Harris, and would routinely receive sneak peeks at upcoming images of Playmates from Hef himself. The reveal for her own pictorial was very similar when Hef handed her Miss January’s picture and, much to her surprise, she recognized her own face. Anna’s Old Hollywood looks mirror Hef’s first blonde crush—Alice Faye—so the classic beauty was a perfect choice for the magazine’s newest Playmate.
When we talked to Anna, she told us that being playmate of the month feels like a dream come true. While she only stays at the mansion half the week, she loves it and loves to be able to hang out with her two bestfriends Crystal & Hef. “My favorite Part about being a Playmate” she told us, “Is that I’m now part of the Playboy Legacy.”
So what does Anna look for in a guy? “A genteman who can make me smile and keep up with me… I may be a little old fashioned, but the perfect date would be dinner with great conversation. I love when you get butterflies and a connection, it makes time spent together exciting.”
