SoCal Is Being Battered By Rain

For those of you who aren’t privy to living on the west coast – you are fortunate. For the good lord is trying his best to wash away the stink of movies like Yogi Bear. California is being flooded.

In an momentous event that would have Bill Hicks celebrating from the grave, California has been recording record downfalls with no end in sight. Meteorologists are claiming that the onslaught won’t end until Thursday, and may even extend past then.

Translation : in southern California, you don’t get snow. You just get the sort of weather that’d make Noah feel at home and The Day After Tomorrow look like a documentary. The kind of weather that’d wash away convertibles and blonde highlights if only the gales were strong enough. Some locations have received more than 12 inches of rain, flash-food warnings are being issued for mountainous areas that JUST recovered from wildfires – meaning that they were just razed with flames before being doused. It’s as if whoever is controlling the weather has the same sort of temperament as the actresses who inhabit the nearby cities.

An estimated 400 to 500 homes were in danger, and an estimated 2,000 witches have melted away. It’s a huge loss.
