I’ve never seen somebody more lusted after than Michael C. Hall, star of Dexter. Basically every twenty-something woman who’s got a little more edge to them wants to jump his bones.
And now they’ll be able to – as he’s split up with his wife, Jennifer Carpenter. For those of you who don’t follow one of the best scripted dramas of television, they played brother and sister. Apparently the loving sexual tension they were able to generate on set consumed them as soon as they walked away from the lot. I can’t imagine falling in love with somebody playing my sister – but then again, nobody’s casting super-hot Hollywood actresses as my sister. And I’m not Donny Osmond, so there’s that.
The couple has been dating since 2007. Yet still, for the life of me, I can’t imagine looking at my wife in the role on my sister. That’s how much of a chameleon Michael C. Hall is. He can make that sort of thing seem completely natural. As right as rain.
Dexter just finished up their fifth season, retaining the title of Showtime’s highest rated series, and the title of the show with the most annoying B and C plotlines.
