Prince Charles and his wife Camilla were on their way to a gala in central London yesterday when the Rolls-Royce they were traveling in was attacked by a group of angry protestors.
The protestors were fighting against a movement to higher tuition fees for students to a whopping 9,000 pounds per year (and equivalent of 12,000 US dollars per year).
The protest is making headlines today as the event got so out of hand that one of the windows of the Prince Charles vehicle was smashed and the car was covered in paint.
A witness pulled out his cell phone during the incident and caught a lot of the chaos on video. While the footage is very amateur and somewhat hard to follow at times, it does give an idea of just how hectic the scene became.
Both Prince Charles and Camilla left the incident unharmed but visibly shaken and the protestors were finally controlled by security and police.
