In a related story, the network continues to slowly slide in the same direction as Harry’s diarrhea.
I believe in news journalism they call it a segue. Unfortunately, it looks like one of the editors forgot to replace a rehearsal joke with the appropriate footage, or perhaps it wasn’t properly removed during the post process of a pre-recorded program.
I say unfortunately, because the program went on to profile a gentlemen with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. A problem that has rendered said man with uncontrollable, painful and dangerous bowel movements–so much so that he had no choice but to quit his job and leave his career behind to seek additional treatment.
Instead of a diagram of the digestive system, or a displayed outline of disease signs and symptoms, CNN opted for Jeff Daniels as Harry Dunne in New Line Cinema’s classic Dumb & Dumber, dropping trou, and exercising the demons of digestive issues.
