The Situation Workout Review | Movie Reviews

No words can properly explain the Situation workout. I’m serious. Writing this review is probably the hardest thing I’ve ever done, probably because of the fact that there WAS NO WORKOUT in the Situation workout. Okay, they do exercise, and they are in workout gear.. i guess. But I really had so much more hope for the Situation. I mean, I really wanted him to be good at something… and I figure if he’s KNOWN for his Abs then he should have a killer workout DVD right? Right? Okay.. fine, I will never trust a reality star again.

So the workout starts with the Situation working the upper body. He moves through exercises without properly explaining them, without mention of how many reps, and for some reason cannot seem to stop touching the girl to his left. It’s awkward, creepy and uncomfortable to watch. As he proceeds through the workout, he keeps looking off to his right where I’m assuming someone is telling him which exercise is next, and it all seems to be going too fast for his pace. The other workouts aren’t much better. There’s more mumbling through the exercises, creeping on the girl, and seeming to be completely clueless about this workout will end. The only part of the DVD that I did find useful was the bonus where he walks you through a sit-up exercise that has helped him get his trademark abs.

Mr. Situation, please stick to workout machines because neither I nor anyone breathing will believe you actually use free weights to workout. Sell a Bowflex or something… At least that’s believable.

Basically, the Situation workout is more for entertainment purposes and I have to admit I was pretty entertained which is why I think you should sign up for the Situation workout DVD giveaway  in the FREE STUFF section!

What did you think about the Situation DVD?

I did his workout on 40-50 lbs dumbells. I wasted an HR of my life! He said "This workout ain't no joke". It is a joke! I got through it with heavy weights and I didn't feel like I had a workout at all. I was hoping that it'd break a plateau in my training. I got better results from generic bodybuilding workouts. I saw 0 bench presses, 0 squats, 0 deadlifts, and 0 clean and press! Where are the essentials! I did see rowing motions so I'll give him that much. Other than that, the DVD is a waste of money.
