We’re not sure what got into talk show host Regis Philbin during a Monday taping, but there’s little doubt it had something to do with rapper Nicki Minaj’s ASSets.
Paying a visit to ‘LIVE! With Regis and Kelly’ the rising star got a little more than she bargained for while talking to Regis and co-host Kelly Ripa after her performance.
During their interview, Regis confessed that he loves her style, and said, “this looks like you’ve got a little strap around you there,” pointing to her dress. He then totally pats her rear end with his hand!
“Regis! What just happened?!” Kelly exclaimed.
Nicki did her best to play it cool, but when she said that her boss, Lil Wayne, advises her to “go hard” Regis joked, “Go hard? I wish I could!”

After the incident a fan tweeted the rapper asking, “What went thru your mind when Regis had slapped ya? That was epic!”
“LOL. I was in shock!” Nicki responded.
