Kanye West is probably the craziest man on the face of the planet. If you need any more evidence of this, take heed of the interview he did with Rihanna.
Interview magazine is notable for having a variety of interviews done by personalities – of other personalities. One important variable is neglected in this – what if your interviewer is a completely crazy person? You can’t adjust for a crazy person’s questions, only hope that they won’t mistake their interviewing equipment for brain-scanners, trying to probe their innermost thoughts. This might be giving Kanye West too much credit though, as he managed to do everything but make Rihanna scream and hit him with kitchen utensils. This was ostensibly to promote his new album, ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ which is estimated to sell 600,000 copies this week. Putting it firmly in the number one spot.
Which is impressive. But Kanye has always had a way of tempering impressive with WTF moments. They are included below.
Kanye: How does it feel to know that you could have any man in the world. Or woman. How does it feel to know that you can turn straight women gay?
Rihanna: Is that a real question?
Kanye: Yeah.
Rihanna: Well … Thank you. I don’t know how to feel about that. I guess that’s flattering.
Kanye: But just to have that level of power. How do you deal with it? No one woman should have all that power.
No one. NO ONE.
