Ugly Betty actor Michael Brea was taken in by police this morning (and later admitted to the hospital for psychiatric evaluation) after killing his mother by stabbing her multiple times and reportedly decapitating her.
The incident happened early this morning in Michael’s mom’s home. Police were called by neighbours who heard the woman screaming. According to sources, Michael was heard belting out religious figures (specific Moses and the architect of the universe) as he continued to stab his mom repeatedly until she was dead.
Police are looking into the details of the incident while doctors try and figure out what happened to make Michael commit such a horrifying crime.
This is just messed up. There’s no other way to explain it.
Hopefully Michael will get the help he needs and the punishment he deserves.
