Beyonce Perfume Commercial Too Sexy for Daytime TV (Watch!)

By Heather B on November 17th, 2010

An oiled up Beyonce is just too sexy for daytime television, according to the UK’s Advertising Standards Authority (ASA).  The singer’s commercial for her new fragrance, ‘Heat,’ was recently ousted from the daytime ad rotation due to what the ASA called, “sexually provocative” imagery.

Personally, we don’t see what the fuss is about.

In a statement posted on the ASA, the advertising watchdog writes that it had received several complaints about the commercial, and because of those complaints, will only be airing Beyonce’s ad after 7:30 pm.

“We considered that Beyonce’s body movements and the camera’s prolonged focus on shots of her dress slipping away to partially expose her breasts created a sexually provocative ad that was unsuitable to be seen by young children,” they wrote.

Previously the singer spoke about advertising her new scent in Women’s Wear Daily, saying, “It’s called ‘Heat,’ so we wanted the ads to be really steamy and dewy.  My sexiest moments are when I’m just getting out of the tub or shower and I’m clean, so I wanted to incorporate that in the ads.”
