Kate Middleton will soon be a real-life Princess. While it’s easy to see how the brunette beauty captured the heart of Prince William – I mean, just look at her bikini pictures – many people are wondering, ‘What the heck took him so long?!’
Dubbed ‘Waity Katie’ by the British press, Kate dated Britain’s heir to the throne for 8-years before he finally popped the question.
William is said to have proposed to Kate last month while the couple was on holiday in Kenya, though we have no word on whether she was wearing a bikini at the time.
However, we do know that before popping the question to his bride-to-be, William kept it traditional and asked Kate’s father, Michael, for her hand in marriage.
The couple is said to wed in mid 2011 in London, England.
Previously, when a friend remarked to Kate that she was “lucky” to be going out with the Prince, Kate responded, “He’s lucky to be going out with me.”
From the looks of these bikini pictures, we’d have to agree. In fact, Kate first caught William’s eye while modeling a sheer dress over a black bikini at a charity fashion show while they attended St. Andrew’s University.
