Fresh before Apple’s world-changing announcement that’s coming tomorrow (speculation abounds) – Facebook has decided that they’re going to integrate new systems for messaging, because, and this is DIRECTLY FROM ZUCKERBERG – e-mail is too slow. We’ve officially hit the Futurama point, where e-mail and instantaneous communication isn’t instantaneous enough. There needs to be more instant instant communication. Yay, technology. For killing any iota of suspense that human interaction can leave. I’m excited, though – this’ll give you even more of a way to stalk people on Facebook. You can now message them on their phone through your Facebook. Think of the possibilities. You’ll just be looking at pictures of people in hot Halloween costumes on your mobile phone, texting them, whilst hiding outside of their house.
