Seth Rogen turned his engagement ring into a nipple ring when the funnyman asked his girlfriend of four-years, writer and actress Lauren Miller, to marry him.
On the premier of Conan O’Brien’s new show on TBS Monday night, Seth revealed he had made elaborate plans to propose to his girlfriend, but had to improvise when he entered their bedroom to pop the question and found her topless.
“She was in our closet, changing, and she was literally only in her underpants,” the 28-year old writer-actor confessed to Conan. “I had already kind of started [to propose]… I didn’t picture it like this, and I know she didn’t picture it like this.”
So just how did he handle the situation? “I figured the only appropriate thing was to place the ring on her nipple, actually,” Seth joked.
With the awkwardness of the proposal out of the way, Seth and Lauren are now excitedly planning their wedding – with Seth finding himself actively involved in many of the decisions.
“I find myself having opinions about what our centerpieces should look like,” he said. “And I’m like, ‘What am I doing? I don’t care about any of this stuff at all!’”
