And everybody has a new weed hero.
Zach Galifianakis is a hero. A comedic hero. Not only is his stand-up comedy amazing, his appearances in film by turns touching and, uh, hilarious, he’ll also interrupt Bill Maher’s taping to light up a joint. To light up a joint on television.
It might be the first time somebody’s lit up a joint on camera. I’m not sure, I’m too high off of this Halloweed. But during a taping of Real Time With Bill Maher, Galifianakis felt like it’d be better to illustrate his point by demonstrating that weed isn’t taboo. It’s not a crazy thing. It’s just something that people do, and it’s an individual decision as to whether or not they think it’s worthwhile. Also, you should do it on Bill Maher’s show as many times as possible. Preferably while he’s talking about important issues.
Galifianakis was in the news recently for getting Mel Gibson kicked off of The Hangover 2 – a fact which didn’t jibe with his co-star, Robert Downey Jr. But he should be in the history books as the best guest Bill Maher’s ever managed to fanagle.
What balls. What bearded, glorious balls.
I love how no other member of the panel imbibes, even though it’s clearly good weed. It’s Zach Galifianakis. You know he’s got good weed.
