Randy Moss Waived: Brad Childress is Obsessed With Brad Childress

Brad Childress is a whiner. He pisses and moans more and better than most head coaches that I have enjoyed watching over the past 3 decades.

Not even a handful of weeks after acquiring Randy Moss, the Vikings have waived the wide receiver. Let’s ask some questions, and answer those questions with other questions: Did Moss criticize the Vikings coaching staff? Is his name Randy Moss? Is the criticism well deserved? Have you seen the Vikings play this season? Where’s that amazing defensive line? Jared Allen?

It’s all well deserved, because Brad Childress is that guy who is so obsessed with proving to everyone that he is a great head coach, that he refuses to admit that he has weaknesses.

He refuses to see that he’s part of a team. He refuses to admit the inevitable–he’ll never be a top-tier NFL head coach–not with an attitude that can be equated to an evening of Velveeta cheese and Boone’s Farm Wine–like these, Childress is anĀ impostor.

The Vikes gave up draft picks to get Randy Moss, and now, we’ll all laugh at the fools when the Patriots claim Moss off waivers. Remember Randy Moss and the “it’s a business” chatter? And c’mon, he spent multiple years with Robert Kraft and Bill Belichick–two dudes with no moral compass in the realm of business and doing whatever it takes to win.

The spotlight is on Brett Favre in Minnesota, but if you want to know why this team ain’t winning, just look at the head man. Same with Dallas and Wade Phillips (in all fairness, I love Wade Phillips–a kind fella). These are two dudes fit for coordination jobs, because that’s what they are–organizers, not motivators…not leaders. The St. Louis Rams saw the same thing at the turn of the century with Mike Martz–these guys suck the life out of potential powerhouse franchises.

If Vikings ownership were smart, they’d can Childress now, and salvage the season with a real head coach: Jon Gruden, Steve Mariucci, Mike Holmgren…start making offers to these guys.
