Track Sex Offenders, With Antoine Dodsen’s Help

By Mark Lorenz on October 26th, 2010

Are you worried about people climbing into your windows? Additionally, about them snatching your people up, trying to rape them? Or are you busy trying to hide your children from said people?

Then if you’ve got an iPhone, or an Android phone, you can enjoy the benefit of having Antoine Dodsen protect you from potential sexual predators. Or people who resemble sexual predators. Or people trying to sing ridiculous novelty songs at you. There’s a new app on the town, painting it red with the dots of sex offenders, mixed in with augmented reality. What’s augmented reality? It’s clearly a concept Antoine Dodsen doesn’t understand – or doesn’t really need to, either. I mean, the man’s making bank off of a report that his sister almost got raped in the projects in Huntsville, Alabama. And she wasn’t because of him.

Weirdly enough, of all the reasons to get famous, that’s probably one of the best ones. Preventing your sister from being raped. What’s Lindsay Lohan famous for, the freaking Parent Trap? Billions of years ago.

Go Antoine. Anyway, the app uses a combination of the national sex offender registry and your surroundings to point out where they are around you. And they could be anywhere.

Go get Antoine more paid. 5% of the proceeds go to RAINN.
