The guy was staying at a prestigious, New York City hotel, what would you expect to happen?
Don’t you know those around him consistently think, “Why can’t you be more like Emilio?”
It went something like this:
Sheen returned to The Plaza Hotel last night/this morning with an unnamed, unidentified woman and retreated to his room. At that point, he discovered that his wallet was missing or had been misplaced, and according to reports, he went “into a rage.” Hold up. Charlie Sheen? A rage? C’mon now.
Staff at The Plaza called police after continuous noise and complaints came from the area of his suite–noises that suggested that he was rearranging the furniture.
When the po po arrived, they found that the room had been flipped upside down, presumably due to Sheen looking for his wallet in an intoxicated state. He was naked, of course, and still slightly incoherent.
At that point, Sheen was taken to a local hospital, for what was considered “unspecified reasons.” It was several hours later that a representative from Sheen’s camp stated that Charlie had experienced an allergic reaction. I’m sure that he did. An allergic reaction to losing your wallet while drunk.
To twist it to the serious side, friends are now saying that an incident like this was several weeks in the making, and that they have feared for Sheen’s life due to his hanging with the wrong crowd for the past couple of months. As easy as it is to giggle at the story, Charlie is such a lovable figure–here’s to hoping he gets the help he needs…again.
