Randy and Evi Quaid are seeking asylum in Canada as refugees. These two have been in legal trouble recently, for squatting in a Monticello home that they owned years ago. They’ve also been arrested for various crimes, but have yet to serve time. However, that’s not why they’re claiming asylum.
They arrived in Canada just over a week ago to enjoy a little vacation time, considering the possibility of emigrating to the North American nation after their recent legal issues. Randy has long felt that he has been under appreciated and persecuted here in the good ole U.S. of A.
Randy and Evi had both been in trouble for suspicion of burglary, as well as unlawfully occupying a building. Evi was also busted for skipping out on the tab after staying at a pretty sweet hotel. If they couple were still in the United States, they’d now be heading back to clink for squatting, after a judge issued a warrant for the arrest of both Dennis and Evi Quaid in the state of California last Monday. That’s when things on the Canadian front got a little strange.
Begging for the services of Canadian immigration upon being detained in Vancouver, the couple stated that they feared for their lives in the United States, due to “star-whackers,” this term coming from a statement released by the couple’s attorney. According to the Evi, several of Randy’s close friends, eight to be precise, have died mysterious deaths in recent years, including Heath Ledger and David Carradine. The couple feels like they are next. Not only were the deaths referred to as strange, but Evi Quaid also referred to them as “murders.”
While I’ll agree that Carradine’s death was odd, and there’s no way that I’ll ever buy it as suicide, was Heath Ledger murdered? Does anyone think he was murdered by a “star-whacker?”
