Do nice guys really get the girl? Your own experiences say no, nice guys never do. In fact, mean guys take the girls from the nice guys — then step on them, muss their hair, and make some wiseacre comment about mussing their hair and stepping on nice guys.
But recent research suggests that nice guys will in fact get the girl. They won’t necessarily get the hottest one, or the one they’re after – but chances are, they’ll get SOME girl. So you can stop crying yourself to sleep at night. And cradling the DVD boxset of My So-Called Life – even though it was groundbreaking. Seriously. You’re going to be okay. You’ll find a nice girl who will appreciate your combovers for what they are – monuments of incredible beauty. Oh, god – they’re so soft. The nice girls just want to lick your combovers.
What prompted this recent discovery? Bored scientists. Seriously – every piece of technology that you’ve ever played with has been thrown at you by bored scientists. Either figuratively or literally. They’ve managed to figure out that altruism is an attractive quality.
