A Lithuanian company is following through with an idea of an “island of blondes” where each and every employee (from the flight crew on the plane to the employees on the resort) are – you guessed it – blonde.
The company is called Olialia (pronounced Ooh-la-la) and is already equipped with its fair share of platinum women.
While some find the idea endearing, other’s say the thought of a blondes-only resort is not only absurd but discriminatory.
Managing director Giedre Pukiene feels optimistic about the plans and says she wants to break the stereotype that blonde women are dumber than their counterparts.
Pukiene told BBC news the following:
“Our girls are very smart and they have degrees,” she explains, although she did not elaborate on what types of degrees her employees have secured.
“All of them want to do something with their lives. They have lots of business ideas.”
Here’s my question: If these women were really smart and wanted to do something with their lives, wouldn’t they choose to work in a hospital, or a school, or any place on Earth that hires a woman because of her skills and qualifications and NOT because of the color hair?
Giedre didn’t mention whether the company plans to hire men as well but judging by the photo above, they will.
The man on the far right meets all the qualifications of the job: Tall, blonde hair, provocative attire.
Wait…that’s not a man?
Enjoy your stay at Olialia.

A blondes only resort, not my thing. A hot-girls-only resort now that's what I'm talking about!

I find it offensive and discriminatory. Although it's easy enough for any woman to become a blonde, I shouldn't have to change the way I look just because I want a job. Besides, most of the women who work there probably arent natural blondes and clearly have no self-respect. I dont know how they can say they're intelligent when they clearly cant get a real job. If I had no other options, I'd probably die my hair, hike up skirt and pull-down my shirt. Sad that these girls are so desperate.

I find this laughable. Leave it to the Lithuanians to come up with such an absurd business plan. It may work; I just question the degrees of the women who will be working there. I'm a blonde; cute and smart and I would never to choose to dumb myself down just to work at some resort.

Very good idea to create an island, where blondes can live without discrimination by jealous haters.

white guys wont have a chance! Coloreds will flock there and then like everything else they touch, the resort will be ruined.
