Lindsay Lohan has had a whirlwind year and 2010 just got a lot worse for the troubled starlet.
Initially, Lilo was scheduled to spend 90 days in jail and 90 days in rehab for her DUI case. Ultimately, she served13 days in jail and just under 3 weeks in rehab and went straight back to her partying ways.
When Lindsay was read her sentence, judge Fox made it very clear that any missed or failed tests would result in a month-long jail sentence but that didn’t stop Lindsay from disobeying the rules.
Just three weeks after being released from the UCLA medical center where she underwent treatment, Lindsay tested dirty. At that time, she tweeted “This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I’m prepared to face the consequences.”
Those consequences will be more time in jail and possibly more rehabilitation.
According to PEOPLE, in a hearing today Lohan was denied bail and ordered to remain in custody until an Oct. 22 hearing.
Sources say Lindsay looked shocked as she was handcuffed and taken away by deputies and placed in an unmarked police car. She was then taken to the women’s Lynwood, California jail where she remain until the date of her hearing.
Maybe this will be the wakeup call Lindsay needs. Maybe.
