Inside the courtroom yesterday witnesses say Shelley Malil cried loudly as he learned the verdict of “guilty” in relation to the stabbing of his girlfriend Kendra Beebe.
The incident took place in August of 2008 outside the home of a friend. Kendra and Shelley had been arguing beforehand and Shelley was reportedly furious when Kendra showed up to the gathering with another man.
According to reports, Shelley approached Kendra with a steak knife, stabbing her more than 20 times. Kendra survived the incident and is making sure Shelley gets the punishment he deserves.
The star, who played an employee at the video store in the hit movie, faces 21 years to life in prison. He will be sentenced on November 18.
