Matt Barnes Twitter Message Following Domestic Fight with Girlfriend!

Los Angeles Laker Matt Barnes was arrested yesterday for domestic violence after an argument with his girlfriend turned physical.

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Departments reportedly responded to a call at 4:15 pm and determined that a verbal fight between the couple turned into a “physical confrontation.”

Barnes insists he was the victim and pleads for his fans to believe that he was not the one at fault. He posted this message on his Twitter page following the incident:

“DON’T LET YOUR EARS WITNESS, WHAT YOUR EYES DIDN’T SEE!!!”

Matt is so determined to get his side of the story out there that he sent this message to Channel 10:

“U know any domestic violence situation 9 outa 10 times the man gets arrested. That’s the case here I was the victim but still got arrested. No matter what I say people are gonna think what they want…”

Police reported that both Matt and his girlfriend (who is speculated but not confirmed to be former fiancé Gloria Goven) had “visible injuries” which leads us to believe that the girlfriend is also in the wrong.

Sure, you’re never supposed to hit a girl, but if she comes at you with a closed fist you’re sure as hell entitled to restrain her in any manner possible.

If they both had visible injuries what makes Matt guilty and his girlfriend innocent?

Do you think Matt is telling the truth when he says he was the victim?
