CNN has finally announced who will fill the time slot of Larry King and viewers’ reactions are mixed.
The coveted spot will go to British journalist Piers Morgan who has expressed excitement and enthusiasm when it comes to his new role:
“I am thrilled to be joining CNN, and very much looking forward to bringing my own style of interviewing to the world’s biggest, and best TV news organization,” Morgan said in a statement Wednesday.
Larry also announced via his Twitter acct with this message to his followers:
“After 25 great years, LKL will end in December. Piers Morgan will have a new show starting in January.”
Those of you may recognize the 45-year-old Brit from the judging panel of Britain’s Got Talent. He also served as editor for the UK’s The Mirror newspaper.
