Well, it looks like Hell is soon to have a super-intelligent new minion to help wage war against God, Heaven and all things pure. Stephen Hawking, who (in case you didn’t already know) is a ridiculously brilliant professor who specializes in theoretical physics and cosmology, has ruffled some feathers with his latest claim: the universe and our happy little corner of the Milky Way could definitively have evolved without the guiding hand of God.
The thrust of Professor Hawking’s premise is simple: known principles of physics can fully explain the evolution of the universe and our place in it, and these principles do not exist as the result of divine design. Religious fundamentalists the world over are busy preparing what will surely be a devastating counterargument, seeing as the truth is written in plain English in the Book of Genesis. In hastily arriving at his ridiculous conclusion, it seems Professor Hawking somehow overlooked compelling biblical evidence that God created the Heavens and the Earth in a rather impressive six-day period before taking a much-needed rest on the seventh day.
It seems Satan is quietly assembling an all-star team of visionary astronomers and scientists to help him corrupt the minds of men and seize the universal balance of power once and for all. Between Professor Hawking, Copernicus and Galileo Galilei, Hell now boasts a far more impressive lineup of prophetic geniuses than Heaven ever has and probably ever will.
So what should you do? Build an underground bunker where you can seek refuge from the impending apocalyptic inferno? According to Professor Hawking, you should be far more worried about a hostile alien invasion than a holy war. Sadly, ‘tis a bad time to be a lowly human saddled with inferior technology on a resource-rich planet, now that there’s no God to save you.

It is clear that you are someone of blind faith. That's fine, as an atheist i don't care where your beliefs stand. But to take Stephen Hawkings literature as an act of the devil and stating that the man who has done such great things for man kind, helped us on the forefront of science to better understand our universe and how we became, and against all odds lived a very difficult life is going to hell. You sir, are beyond offensive and should be ashamed of yourself. What makes you think that you are the judge and jury of heaven and hell? What gives you the right to condemn a man to hell for simply expressing his beliefs. Keep your bias and religion out of journalism there is no place for either in this ages media. People like you belong in the dark ages where you hang and burn each other for being a witch or wizard but don't consider it murder. I hope that one day you wake up and you're condemned for your beliefs and ideas, are told that when you die you will go to a place where they make you listen to "I love you" by barney on loop while strapped to a chair where freezing cold water will constantly drip on your forehead for all entirety. Yeah lets see just how tolerant you are when people tell you what kind of life you are going to be living when you die.

Awesome. Can't wait for his new book to be released so we can fight scripture with scripture and finally be on level pegging with the bible!

This is just another instance where theories were postulated and misunderstood as fact. I'm not surprised that James K used a pen name for this article anymore than me using one for this response. Science is just another religion where it's clergy must believe they are right and everyone else is wrong. If they don't then they have to accept that they are regular human beings just like the rest of us and their fragile egos would be hurt. Just like the Bible thumping James K. Hey James. What version of the Bible do you use? In what language do you read it? Have you ever compared the writings in another to the one you're thumping here? Have you ever considered how many petty, self serving, lowly human beings laid their hands on the translations and reinterpretations of that scripture? Or do you just assume that all those people were as far above the human experience as you consider yourself to be? Please remember that even Mr. Hawkings has had to recant on several occasions. Have you? I find it hard to believe that God needs either of you to either prove or disprove God's existence.

I have many questions to be raised concerning Stephen Hawking's theories and the concept of gravity: a) As Stephen Hawking's theory has its base to be upon the work of gravity, I would like to raise a few queries that have doubt in my mind: i) How does gravity exist in this universe? As mentioned by Stephen Hawking, that the function of the universe is based upon the work of gravity. How does this gravity come about? What causes the existence of gravity? Why is that that gravity from the universe varied from the gravity on the earth? Why should there be gravity? If the gravity exists since past, what causes gravity to be created on earth as well as the universe? What is the main factor that causes the gravity to be arisen? Is gravity itself measurable and visible? b) If either evolution has to be accepted or the principality of God's creation has been established, what is the factor that causes gravity to be created? Is it by chance or by luck? If it is by chance, how could that gravity be established in perfect form that can perfectly established to support the earth and the universe?

Copernicus was a Roman Catholic priest and so was Monsignor Georges Lemaître (the man who thought up the big bang theory). It's very possible for religion and science to be friends, and not every religious person believes the bible is to be taken literally.

I enjoy bible bashers attacking the character of their opposition, says a lot about you pal. First off, Hawkings says you are free to believe what you want. HIS position however is that there is no such thing as God, that is not to say there is or isn't one as a matter of fact. YOU on the other hand, take the stance that either you must believe or you are wrong, but what you fail to bring to the table genius, is a detailed and systematic explanation for your faith and your argument. "...seeing as the truth is written in plain English in the Book of Genesis", please you must be kidding. That's your argument? Some drunk starts scribbling on a piece of paper and declares it to be divine inspiration and that's all you have? So if I start writing a story of a supernatural spaghetti monster that guides my life and declare this to be true simply by believing it to be true, have I not just created an entire faith in itself? That sir, is EXACTLY how your faith originated. Hawkings on the other hand gives substance to his argument. Although mostly theoretical and limited only by the technology available, the works of Hawkings are bound by oberservable behaviours of the universe and making reasonable logical arguments based on PROVEABLE premises. Your argument, or complete lack thereof, is so full of holes, self contridictions and senseless propositions that I still find it a wonder that anyone still follows such dribble. Try thinking, I know this may be a foreign concept to you but at the end of the day it really is the only means we have of knowing truth, or is that just not important to you...

PHILOSOPHIA PERENNIS. The Old Lady’s TORTOISE (Hinduism) and DRAGON (Taoism) are symbols for WAVE (energy), both are analog with MAGEN DAVID (Judaism). "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" is the metaphor, and also similar with allegory of rituals Thawaf circling around the Ka'ba and Sa’i oscillating along “the sinus” Marwah-Shafa (seven times) during the Hajj pilgrimage (Abraham). CROSS (Christian) and SWASTIKA (Buddhism) are symbols for “Balance of Nature.” "A BRIEF HISTORY OF TIME - From the Big Bang to Black Hole" by Stephen W. Hawking is the best scientific interpretation of AL QUR'AN by a non believer. It is a "test case" and also a “genuine bridge stone” for comprehensive study of Theology. Surprise, this paradox is a miracle and blessing in disguise as well. It should be very wise and challenging for Moslem scholars and others to verify my discovery, for then we should know the Mind of GOD. I am just “ordinary people,” so would you mind correcting my point of view. Thank you. Please, see pictures: http://neosufi-tato.blogspot.com
