New England Patriots linebacker Brandon Spikes has come forward and admitted that a sex tape involving him and a female companion does in fact exist.
His agent, Terry Watson, released this statement regarding the situation:
“It was something that occurred before he became an NFL draftee and a New England Patriot. I think for anyone it would be an embarrassing situation. Brandon has shown to many people the kind of person he is before and after being drafted in the second round. He’s hoping to put this behind him and looks forward to having a great football season.”
Regardless of when the tape took place, Spikes is still under investigation and his NFL career could still be in jeopardy.
In regards to Spikes violating the league’s personal conduct policy, NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told the Boston Herald “We are looking into it.”
This is exactly why anyone any man with a career in the public eye (or in the midst of pursuing a career in the public eye) should never, under any circumstances, tape themselves getting naughty under the sheets. It will ALWAYS come out – you can count on that.
Now, unfortunately, Brandon Spikes cannot necessarily count on another paycheck from the patriots.
No word on when a decision will be made regarding Spikes’ fate on the field.

They are torturing this young man to set an example to their team and fellow NFL players…completely ridiculous this is not the way that the role models that Mr.Spikes and NFL players should be gaining knowledge and experience from (Bill Belichick and Roger Goodell along with all the other head coach’s) and should be handling this with more wisdom then agression. Ok the public understands these things happen and there not to be viewed and left behind closed doors. If anything the young couple in the video seem to be happy and enjoying themselves unlike some other sex tapes that have been previously released with men disrespecting women or the women acting foolishly in this case neither is present. To finish this off no one is perfect life is meant to learn give him a fair chance he’s a great prospect for the future of the NFL and the Patriots. Fuckin please. Sex is sold to the public eye 24/7 for all the world to see and then “the industry” acts so self- rightous and superficial as if stars should behave a certain way. This whole sex tape thing only became a problem when paris hilton released her’s and no one had a problem w it. In fact she’s MORE famous now.
