Lady Gaga Loves The Drugs

By Mark Lorenz on August 27th, 2010

Lady Gaga has everything she could possibly need. A thriving music career, millions of fans around the world, millions of dollars – but she’s still an overdramatic art school student.

Who glamorizes drug use. After admitting to Vanity Fair that she uses cocaine a few times a year after claiming to be addicted to it and living in a roach-invested apartment, she’s defended her drug use in Q Magazine, by saying that drugs helped her be creative. Specifically cocaine. I can understand taking some drugs to inspire you, especially ones that let you see things that you wouldn’t see ordinarily, but cocaine?

People who do cocaine usually make dance music or metal. Because nothing really happens. Your heart-rate increases, you have more energy, and have grandiose delusions. Also, you start dressing ridiculously, go out to clubs, date douchebags, and have an over-inflated sense of self importance.

See: every popstar that’s ever existed, but specifically Gaga.

How hard is it to shut up in interviews and not reveal things about yourself to the point where you sound like an idiot? It’s not hard. There needs to be some sort of limit to the amount of times you can get hit with information by publicists – after the 2000th time, you get tired of it. We get it. You’re the female Marilyn Manson — with less tact.

Also, COME ON. It’s dance music. It’s art, but it’s not like you’re Francis Bacon.
