What’s wrong with you people? Do you hate looking at beautiful women in dresses who answer questions – that you can then think about when you’re alone and trying to go into your happy place?
Apparently you do, because nobody watched the Miss Universe pageant. Nobody. Well, six million people did, but being that NBC paid beaucoup dollars for the rights to the damn thing, they should’ve gotten more ratings than that. Was is Bret Michaels? Were you afraid that he might try molesting the contestants in the back, then get onstage and sing Unskinny Bop, or is it just a precaution everyone took because they were afraid that NBC would try to promote their terrible television shows – drive a Knightrider imitation on stage and mow over a few contestants?
Anyway, viewing was at an all time low, maybe indicating that in an age where we can find hotter women taking off their clothes on the internet for free, we don’t really need them to dress up and answer questions about the environment.
Unless you have a weird fetish that not many other people share.
Above is the reaction that people in the Philippines had when their hometown girl Venus made the semi-finals.

People don’t have an appetite for boring vanity queens prancing about on stage like cattle. Some men may like it but we women expect to see a beautiful woman with accomplishments to back up her public persona. Beauty queens are boring. That’s why no one watches the show.
