Not only is Mel Gibson a reported horrible boyfriend and all-round poor excuse for a human being (listen to the 150 audio tapes as evidence), he apparently can’t drive either.
TMZ reports that Mel Gibson lost control of his car and stuck the rocky hillside on Malibu Canyon Road. His 2008 Maserati had to be towed from the scene. Mel was not injured.
CHP Public Information Officer Leland Tang told TMZ, “Gibson told officers in the field he did not know how the car drifted out of the lane and into the hillside.” He said officers asked if he was on a cell phone at the time, and Mel said he was not. He reportedly just repeated several times, “Just smile and blow me! I don’t know how the car left the road.”
According to the police report, DUI is not suspected in the accident. Also, no citation was issued and no charges will be filed.
