The Philadelphia Eagles cheerleader is getting no love from her squad mates, as she has reportedly been missing practices to spend time with her boyfriend, Phillies slugger, Ryan Howard.
Typically cheerleaders are only allowed to miss practice if they are ill or there is a death in the family, meaning that there must be more to shaking those pom poms than meets the eye.
Philly.com reports that although Campbell did not give her coaches a reason why she was absent from practice, she will not be facing any punishment – a fact which has angered many of her team mates. Previous absentees have reportedly been made to work games from the stadium’s luxury suits, rather than dance on the field as punishment.
However, Eagles cheerleader director Barbara Zaun told Philly.com “All of our cheerleaders adhere to the same guidelines. No exceptions.”
Krystle and Ryan have been together for about a year, and (obviously) Ryan enjoys the fact that his girlfriend is part of the Eagles cheering squad. In fact, he was the one who convinced Krystle to try out for the team again this year.
Campbell could not be reached for comment.
