American Idol producers better have something good up their sleeves – or the incredibly popular talent show is going to go down the shitter fast.
Over the past few weeks there have been several rumors as to which famous face would have the privilege of replacing the talented Simon Cowell on the hit show. Now, just one day after Ellen Degeneres has announced she’s quitting the show and rumors that Kara DioGuardi is being fired have surfaced the show is scrambling to find someone who could save the day.
Could that someone be Jennifer Lopez or Jessica Simpson? Apparently so.
New sources have confirmed that both Jennifer Lopez and Jessica Simpson are in talks with Idol producers to become permanent judges on the panel.
Personally, I think Jennifer Lopez could do a great job from a vocal/performing perspective and Jessica Simpson could do an amazing job from an entertainment perspective. And - at the end of the day - if I had to pick just one, I would definitely pick Jessica Simpson.
Come on, she’s ditzy and she has no filter – she’s perfect for the job!
