President Barack Obama will be on The View in just a few hours! We’ll be blogging throughout the Presidential interview, so you’ll be able to read our comments while you watch.
But first, because of our not-so-secret undying love for Chelsea Handler, watch as she takes on The View and questions how the ladies are preparing for their high profile guest.
Oooh! I wonder how Obama will weigh in on such hard-hitting and important societal issues?!
Still, there must be something about the women of The View that keeps Obama coming back for more. Today’s appearance will mark the third time he shares the notorious yellow couch with Barbara Walters and company, and the first time a sitting US President will make a studio appearance on a live daytime talk show.
Obama’s first appearance on The View was in 2004, while promoting his book, Dreams From My Father. He also appeared on the chatshow in 2008 as a presidential candidate.
Today’s episode of the view was pre-recorded yesterday, but will air today. Obama is expected to reflect on “the Gulf of Mexico oil spill, the economic crisis and the fact that his soon-to-be teenage daughters still ‘like’ him.”
