The Hills ISN’T REAL?!

By Mark Lorenz on July 13th, 2010

What?! WHAT?! You’ve got to be kidding. Seriously. Back the fun bus up to crazy station, cause what are these words coming out about television’s favorite show?

The Hills are fake? They’re not real? There’s not a producer whispering lines and dramatic action from off-camera? I don’t know who to believe anymore. If a man in a giant red suit tries to hand me gifts, I’m not really going to think he’s Santa anymore. I’m going to punch him in his gonads and cry. My faith in the world has been completely shattered and there’s little to nothing that can stitch it back together.

In what must’ve been her most hard-hitting interview yet, Kristin Cavallari has alluded that nothing you see on TV is real, even in reality TV. And quite frankly I’m so disturbed that I might burn down an In N’ Out burger. This is life or death that we’re dealing with here. I thought that every single action I’ve ever seen on Top Model, Top Chef, or American Top Hasbeen (ie: Idol) was completely real and unaltered. Clearly I’m not fit to hold a real job or operate heavy machinery.

I just, I just don’t even understand this tomfoolery. Wake me when it’s over.
