Rumor has it that a Levi-Bristol romance is definitely on again – and Levi’s recent apology to the Palins is adding more fuel to this fire.
After spending the better part of last year (and most of his 15 minutes) bashing Sarah Palin and her family, posing for Play Girl and pretending to romance Kathy Griffin, Levi is apparently looking for a fresh start, offering the Palins a public apology.
Levi tells People Magazine, “Last year, after Bristol and I broke up, I was unhappy and a little angry. Unfortunately, against my better judgment, I publicly said things about the Palins that were not completely true.”
However, Levi doesn’t go into detail about which of the stories he leaked to the press were lies – information that could be handy should he ever find himself again on the outs with the Palins. Maybe he’s not as dumb as we thought?
“I’ve already privately apologized to Todd and Sarah,” Levi continued, “Since my statements were public, I owe it to the Palins to publicly apologize.”
Not to be outdone, Bristol in turn responded to Levi in her own statement to the media. “Part of co-parenting is creating healthy and honest relationships between the parents,” Bristol told the mag. “Tripp one day needs to know the truth and needs to know that even if a mistake is made, the honorable thing to do is to own up to it.”
